About the Founder & Team

Shankar AVSB is the Founder of MarketStar, and a market researcher and futures trader with over 22 years experience in global financial markets.

His background spans equity, commodity and crypto market research, equity investing, stock/ETF trading, equity futures trading, commodity futures trading, and long-term investment research, which has been used by Investment Funds, HNIs and Family Offices.

Shankar ranked among the top futures traders in an international trading competition conducted by the CME Group in 2017. He is also the author of books and reports on trading and investment management.

Shankar is also the Founder of Jupiter Futures, which is dedicated to equity and commodity futures trading, development of advanced trading systems using inhouse capital, consulting and coaching for Agri commodity trading firms in the US and Europe.

Shankar is also the founder of two blockchain projects: Green Earth Blockchain to bring transparency in global food supply chain, and Kaafila project to enable free education for all with free courses, virtual learning and virtual working in the metaverse. These are still early stage projects, but they build on two key themes of our times: Preserving the quality of food and natural products, and the Future of Work, through virtual learning and virtual working.

Our team members and analysts are based in the USA, Canada, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, UAE, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.

Through MarketStar, we aim to share transparent, research-based trading ideas with commodity traders worldwide. We will maintain on: Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Gold, and Silver. These four commodities are enough for getting great trading gains every year.
